Hello hello! It’s been tough for us in the space launch viewing world, we’ve had a lot of scrubs in the last 3 weeks. We are just waiting on that pesky orange rocket. Clean your ground system sensors people!
Northrup Grumman sent the SS Kalpana Chawla to the space station with over 4 tonnes of cargo.
If you live in the middle of nowhere, this launch is for YOU! SpaceX sent up another batch of 60 Starlink satellites, getting us one step closer to the open beta by the end of the year.
Dutchsteammachine did another beautiful interpolation using artificial intelligence (with some help from yours truly). Here is Ed White’s historic spacewalk in 4k at 24fps. This was originally captured at 6fps! It looks so much better now, I think.
Former Navy Seal and resident badass of the Space Station, Chris Cassidy, walks us through how he handles dropping bombs while on-orbit.
If you’ve ever wondered why we launch rockets from both the West and East coasts of the states, I have you covered. I did a bit of a deep dive on the subject, perhaps too deep of a dive, and I think almost everyone will learn something.
Thanks for reading and watching! Also, sorry I missed last week. I’m doing my best :-)
